We took a quick two night trip to Branson, MO on our way to Indiana for Thanksgiving.
The first day we went shopping at The Landing which was my favorite part! Somer got to get a bear from Build-a-Bear with daddy while I got to shop.
There were many chain stores along with beautiful boutiques that weren’t overpriced! That evening, we went to the Wax Museum which was fun for both kids and adults!
It was my nephews birthday so we stayed at The Grand Country Inn which had the cutest bunk bed houses for the kids to sleep in!
The Inn also had an indoor water park (Somer’s favorite part), an arcade with laser tag, bumper cars, indoor go carts, indoor/outdoor mini golf, a fudge shop, and live shows for both kids and adults. Not my cup of tea, but it was perfect for the kids and nerdy dads. I typically don’t do all-inclusive as I like to get out and explore but I will say seeing Somer’s excitement for the clubhouse bunk beds in our room and all of the activities almost made me change my mind!
It was wonderful if you like all-inclusive or just want to spend one day letting kids do all of those activities without driving around. We spent the entire second day of our trip at the hotel for my nephew’s birthday and the kids had an awesome time!
That’s all we had time for but I would love to come back in the summer to take the kids to Silver Dollar City, go to more of the fun restaurants, and check out all of the shopping I missed!
Overall, it was heaven for kiddos with activities like go carts every turn you make and the shopping was fun for me! Branson definitely has a Midwest/country vibe which always makes me feel at home! I hope to bring the kids back in the summer time once Ross gets a little older! I can’t believe such a cute little country town filled with activities for kids is only 3 hours away from KC!
